Free plot plan main purpose

The main purpose of 100 Choras Var Mafat Plot Yojna is to build a house by giving free plots to the people living below the poverty line. So for those people who cannot build their own solid houses, the Gujarat government has started a free plot assistance scheme. People of the family can build a house by giving a free plot so that they get a lot of financial help.

The recently launched Gujarat 2023 free plot scheme focuses on providing 100 square meter plots of land to residents in economically struggling areas. The program aims to benefit agricultural labourers, rural artisans and people living in deprived areas across the state. By offering free plots, the government aims to improve the living conditions of these individuals and provide them with a foundation for a better future.

Who can avail in Free Plot Assistance Scheme?

To qualify for the housing assistance program, individuals must have lived in the village for at least one year. The Free Plot Scheme Gujarat 2023 allows eligible individuals to acquire private land up to 100 square meters without any restrictions on ownership subject to certain conditions. Any additional cost associated with land acquisition will be borne by the beneficiaries.

Beneficiary must belong to B.P.L category.
Age of the applicant should be more than 18 years.
The benefit of this scheme will be available only if the applicant is living below the poverty line.
Beneficiary should not own any kind of land.
The annual income limit of the applicant should not exceed 1,20,000.
Should be resident of Gujarat state.
The applicant should be a rural artisan or labourer.

The scheme of giving free residential plots to houseless families for building construction was being implemented sporadically in Gujarat. The scheme was revised five years ago on 1st May 2017, Gujarat’s foundation day.

In the reform resolution published by the Panchayat and Village Development Department to provide free house plots of maximum 100 square meters but not less than 50 square meters to the homeless families living in the villages, the Gram Sabha was asked to do wide publicity. Committees were formed under this scheme to dispose of applications for free homestead plots and avoid delays. Out of which the Land Committee was asked to dispose of the allotment applications at the beginning of every month.

The development commissioner has also sent the application form, its specimen, Talati certificate and specimen undertaking letter of the applicant along with the order issued to the DDO last week. So that applications for free plot allotment can be collected and disposed of from homeless families in rural areas quickly.

Free plot plan application process

To take advantage of the free plot scheme, the beneficiary has to apply offline. To apply, obtain the form from the Gram Panchayat, fill all the required details accurately and attach all the requested documents and get signed by the Talati Minister, after which the form is approved according to the opinion of Talati and Sarpanch. or will be rejected.
