Gujarat Dear Daughter Scheme Eligibility
All daughters among the first three children of the family will be eligible for the benefit of Vahali Dikri Yojana
Only daughters born after 2 August 2019 can benefit from this scheme (vahali dikri yojana age limit).
The age of the mother must be 18 years or more at the time of the daughter
Applicant should be permanent resident of Gujarat state.
Annual family income should not exceed 2 lakh rupees.

Dear Daughter Yojana Assistance Available
In Vali Dhotti Yojana, the amount of assistance will be paid to the beneficiary daughter in total three installments. Under this scheme, the beneficiary daughter will be eligible to get a total of Rs 110000 (one lakh ten thousand) in three installments.
In first installment – Beneficiary daughters on admission to first class Rs. 4000/- (Rupees Four Thousand) will be available.
100000/- (One Lakh) as higher education/marriage assistance will be available to the beneficiary daughter after reaching 18 years of age but the daughter’s child should not be married.
Note:- If the beneficiary daughter dies before the age of 18 years under the Vali Dotti Yojana, the ‘Baki Sahay’ will not be available.
How to Apply for Vali Dhoti Yojana
Vali Dhotti Yojana form can be obtained free of cost from the Anganwadi center run by Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) at the village level and also from the VCE (Village Computer Entrepreneur) operating the Digital Gujarat Portal at the Gram Panchayat.
Vali Dhotti Yojana form will be available free of charge from the office of Taluka “Integrated Child Development Yojana Adhikari Shri (ICDS)” under Zilla Panchayat in Taluka.
The application form of Vali Dotti Yojana will be available free of charge at the office of the Women and Child Officer at the district level.
